BITE HER BUTT !!!!

Suwan sits on the back porch step.

Anchalee in the back yard.

Suwan and Anchalee enjoy their evening in the back yard.

Don't underestimate your baby's ability to comprehend! That was the lesson my husband learned yesterday. I got to have my break from taking care of Suwan and Anchalee when my husband got home from work. I left the living room and let Daddy and the girls be together. After awhile, I heard a big laugh from my husband and saw him walking toward me to the computer room where I spend my break time checking my mails. "I've got to tell your mom something", he yelled to the girls. He told me that while the girls were playing on the floor. Anchalee's butt happened to be on top of Suwan's head. So my husband just told suwan to "bite her butt!!" and then she did. He said "I didn't know that she would understand that, how could she know that?" and I told him that these girls pretty much understand everything even when they can't talk yet. So did she really bit her on the butt?, I asked my husband. "Well, just the diaper, of cause", he said. We both laughed.

The girls are now almost 15 months old. They can only say words like mama, dada, cat, car. I see that they try very hard to say other words. They just don't come out right. I teach them both in English and Thai and they understand both languages very well. Suwan hair is getting long again. I have to give it a trim. This will be her 4th cut. Anchalee, I don't know when she will have hair long enough to cover her head.

Hot Hot Hot!! day.

It's very hot out here in the east coast. It's about 98 degree. The girls and I went out side in the back porch and soaked up in the minipool. We haven't gone out much lately due to the heat. If we do we just go to grocery store or baby store. I was watching repeat Oprah show today about global warming presented by Al Gore. It's very scary to see the world melting away very fast in the past 30 years. I think most of Americans consume too much energy and not aware of it. I remember when I was living in the village with my grandfather, we didn't have electricity or tap water. Plastic bag ands plastic containers were very new too us and we reused them again and again until they worn out. Now I live here I have too many light bulbs in the house, washing machine, dishwasher, electronic equipments, heater, air conditioner and entertainments gadgets. I got upset when my husband turns on too many lights when he doesn't need them or when he turn facet to the highest point or leave it running when he shaves. Little things likes that brother me. I don't like to do small load of laundry instead I wait until it big enough to fit all in the machine. Atleast I feel good to help save some of the energy and perhaps the world!
