Atlantic City Hotels On the Boardwalk

Over the past 20 years, my husband and I enjoy taking little 2-3 days trips to Atlantic City, NJ.  We like to stay at hotels located right on the boardwalk because it's much more convenient to walk to and from other casino hotels nearby.

Here are some great Atlantic City Hotels On the Boardwalk that are on top of our list.

Caesar's Palace Hotel & Casino - We like to stay here because we're club members and usually get comp room and bonus money to play slot.  This is the most convenient hotel to us because we like to walk around at the Pier - shopping and eating.  All we have to do is just walk out of the 2nd floor of the casino hotel and cross the bridge over to the Pier without going outside.  Caesar has the best modern slot games in town.

Show Boat Atlantic City - Show boat is very Festive place.  You can think of celebrating Mardi Gras in New Orleans when you think of Show Boat because Mardi Gras is their theme.  It's colorful and fun.  Every time you win the slot jackpot, you'll get bead necklaces.  They've got the best buffet here with the best fried chicken and yummy desserts.  I think we won more money here than any other places.

Trump's Plaza Atlantic City - We haven't stayed at Trump for quite some time.  There are lots of changes.  We usually don't want to pay over $100/night if we can get free comp room from other boardwalk hotels.  This is one of my first stay at Atlantic City.  We ate at the buffet and it was very good but not as good as Show Boat though.

Tropicana Atlantic City - This is a very nice hotel too.  Plenty of fun slots and table games to play. There are a lot of restaurant to eat, a good BBQ place on the first floor and Hooter.  Love the indoor market place which you can buy so many thing from cooking supplies, clothing, bags, perfumes and ice-cream.

Bally's Atlantic City - Bally has very distinctive Victorian Decors all over the hotels.  The only problem is that most of their rooms aren't very big.  They also has a good, friendly buffet restaurant and a great outdoor swimming pool.

Ever since we had the twins, we usually stay at Caesar's Palace because their rooms are much bigger.  I love to stroll the kids to the Pier and watch Dancing water or just window shopping.  The third floor has a great Sandy Resting area where the kids can  play while you can sit and enjoy the beach view and people on the boardwalk.

One tip though, if you want to get great bonus and room offers, you need to get a free member card.  Every time you play slots or table games you use your bonus card so that you can earn rewards such as free room, free buffet, free show, free play money and so forth.

I'm always surprised how often these hotel casinos send us free stuff because we're not very big gamblers.

Hope you have a chance to try these Atlantic City Hotels on the Boardwalk out.  Let me know how you enjoy it!
