Suwan & Anchalee Made Cookies for the first time.

Today, we invited a Mom friend from play group and her toddler son over to our house. The boy is about the same age as the girls (2 1/2 years-old). The children got along pretty well but they did't play together as much. They all split to different directions and played by themselves most of the time. The all seemed very excited when knowing that they would meet and play together though.

In the afternoon, the girls and I tried to find something new and exciting to do. I decided to let them help me make oatmeal cookie. They enjoyed helping me mixing flour and other ingredients together in a big bowl. Each of the girl had a spatula to help with mixing and stirring. The girls was very pleased that they able to help and learned about each ingredients we put in the bowl. The asked for more stuff to add to the bowl when there wasn't anything else to add.

We packed cookies in a container when they cooled down and we each had one cookie for sampling. "Yummy ! ", they said. They show the cookies to daddy when he came home and gave him a piece.

The first cookie making experience went well, I think. The girls only spilled a dash of flour on the table and floor. It was much better than I expected. I have to think about something else to cook in the future now.

Thanks for stopping by.
