potty train again!
I decided that it is time to get serious about potty train the twins again. My first attempted was when they were about 14 months old. It was going very well. The girls were not quite know how to tell when they had to go yet. I brought couple packages of Gerber training pants from Walmart and started to use them right away. It would say we had quite a success. Suwan went poop and pee on the toilet with the child toilet seat on and later she peed in a potty chair and carried the pot over to her daddy. "Daddy, pee" she told him. We all pretty surprised that she took of her pant and did everything on her own. Anchalee went pee pee twice in the toilet with my help. Today, Suwan got on the toilet on her own in the morning and peed. She did her number two on a potty just right before lunch while I was preparing them lunch. I thought everything went pretty well in the morning. In the afternoon, everything started to go wrong again. I had a lot of wet diapers at the end of the day. I must say that potty train process is quite complex and frustrating for me. I hope and wish that this will end soon...!

14 months old and potty training already?
(Suwan and Anchalee enjoy playing with their portable chairs during a picnic.)
I got frustrated when Suwan started to poop every time after I gave her a shower or a bath in the morning. Yes, shower. She loves to stand under the running water and opens her mouth to catch the water. Anyway, back to the pooping thing. Sometimes, she pooped in the shower right after she finished. Sometimes, she pooped right in a bath during bathing. The worst one was when she pooped on the carpet before I can put a diaper on. This also happens with Anchalee except she has peed instead of pooped. I got tired of cleaning up after poops! How many more poops I have to go through before they are potty trained? I have an idea that babies like to do their business with their bared bottoms. It makes sense since it seems so natural to them.
So, what is my solution ? May be I should get them potty chairs. I read that average age for potty train is about 3 years old. That seems to me pretty old for training. I can't imagine the amount of diapers I have to go through with these two girls. Hay, What ta heck!, I thought. I told my husband that I'm going to buy the girls potty chairs. He supported my idea and helped me pick out the potty chairs. We bought two very simple plastic potty chairs that are easy to clean. I let the twins play with them for awhile. They liked to sit on them and take out the inner container parts. Later that day, I hid the potty chairs in the bathroom with the door close. I don't want the girls to think that these are toys to them.
Sunday was the girls first potty training day. I put the girls on the potty chairs right after they woke up in the morning. They sat next to each other. To my surprise, Anchalee peed in it right away, but Suwan didn't. All day long, I kept putting them on the potty chair right ater their feeding and meal times. It turned out that no one has gone pooped that day. Anchalee did well, she peeped 3 out of 4 times. Suwan peeped 1 out of 4 times. Yesterday, Monday, Anchalee did both poop and pee in the pot. Suwan did pee and just a little poop. So far, I am pretty pleased with the results. I know this won't be easy and it probably will drive me nut!
